Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar has inspected the canal excavation work at the Banglakhali canal in Parikoda Union of Anwara upazila today. During the visit, he urged the concerned officials to work with honesty and devotion to implement the Prime Minister’s visionary project.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Ziauddin and senior officials, including BADC Executive Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, were present during the inspection. The re-excavation work of the Banglakhali canal, covering Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar districts, began on April 18 as part of an irrigation development project. Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) is executing the project.
