Dhaka: The sitting of the first session of the 13th parliament resumed at 3:05 pm today at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram in the chair. The day’s proceedings began with a recitation from the Holy Quran.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the session marks a continuation of the parliamentary activities in the newly formed 13th parliament. The session was scheduled to address various legislative agendas and discussions pertinent to the current national issues. The recitation from the Holy Quran has remained a customary practice, signifying the commencement of the parliamentary proceedings.
