Dhaka: US-Bangla Airlines, a private carrier from Bangladesh, has resumed its regular flight operations across all Middle East routes as regional conditions have improved. This move restores crucial connectivity for Bangladeshi expatriates who faced disruptions due to recent conflicts.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the airline has announced it will now operate scheduled flights to key destinations including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Riyadh, and Jeddah. The Dhaka-Doha route is set to resume tomorrow, with daily departures from Dhaka at 7:30 pm, and return flights from Doha at 11:30 pm local time.
US-Bangla Airlines offers direct flights from Dhaka to Muscat, with return services landing in Dhaka via Chattogram. Flights to Dubai are scheduled daily, also via Chattogram. The airline provides six weekly flights to Abu Dhabi, with Thursday being the only exclusion, and four weekly flights to Sharjah.
In Saudi Arabia, the airline operates flights to Riyadh five days a week-Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday-and three weekly services to Jeddah, on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The majority of these Middle East routes utilize Boeing 737-800 aircraft, while the Riyadh and Jeddah services are operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
US-Bangla's current fleet comprises 25 aircraft, including three Airbus A330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s. The airline also plans to expand its network in the Middle East by launching flights to Madinah and Dammam soon, as stated in their press release.
