Met Office Predicts Rain for Various Regions Across Bangladesh

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that rain would occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met office bulletin stated, “Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places.”



The bulletin also mentioned that the weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. The day temperature is expected to fall slightly, while the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across Bangladesh.



The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and Ishurdi, whereas today’s minimum temperature was 21.5 degrees Celsius in Rangamati. The sun sets at 6:21 pm today and rises at 5:34 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
