Dhaka: Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defence Adviser Brigadier General (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam at his office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting took place at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment. A press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate confirmed the visit, highlighting that both officials engaged in discussions on various issues of mutual interest.
The discussion centered on hopes to further strengthen bilateral military relations and strategic ties between Turkey and Bangladesh. Both parties expressed optimism about the future of their cooperative efforts, aiming to enhance the partnership between the two nations.
