Singapore: BNP Standing Committee Member and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas has been shifted from the critical care unit (CCU) to a cabin at Singapore General Hospital. This change in his medical status marks an improvement in his health condition since his initial admission.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the development, citing information from Abbas’s family members. Shayrul stated, “After speaking with his family members there, I learned that Mirza Abbas is slightly better than before.”
Mirza Abbas was flown to Singapore by an air ambulance on March 15 after his condition deteriorated. His health issues began on March 11 when he suddenly lost consciousness while drinking water during iftar. Following the incident, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital Dhaka later that night as his condition showed no signs of improvement.
