Dhaka: A meeting of the Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, commenced at the Cabinet Room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday night. The meeting began around 8:45pm, as noted in a release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
According to United News of Bangladesh, Cabinet meetings traditionally occur on Thursdays at the Secretariat. However, due to the ongoing Parliament session, this particular meeting is being conducted at the Parliament complex following the day’s sitting.
Cabinet sources have indicated that several significant issues are on the agenda for discussion, prominently featuring the fuel oil and energy situation and the challenges associated with it.
