Godagari: A mobile court today fined seven motorcyclists during a drive at a petrol pump in Godagari upazila of the district for failing to produce valid documents. The drive was carried out at Abul Kashem Petrol Pump in the upazila sadar area this noon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Godagari Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Shamsul Islam led the drive. He imposed fines under the Road Transport Act, 2018, due to the absence of valid driving licences and vehicle documents.
Mobile court sources reported that a total of Taka 6,000 was collected in fines during the operation.
