Dhaka: The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification promoting 264 officers to the post of Senior Assistant Secretary. ‘Total 264 officers of the BCS (Administration) cadre have been promoted to the post of Senior Scale (Senior Assistant Secretary) under the National Pay Scale, Grade 6 of 2015 of the Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules, 1981,’ said the notification today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification stated that the promoted officers are required to send their joining letters to the Senior Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry as Officers on Special Charge (Senior Assistant Secretary: [email protected]). The officers will continue their duties in their current positions until further directives are given.
The notification emphasized that this order has been issued in the public interest and is effective immediately.
