Palash: BNP Standing Committee member and Narsingdi-2 lawmaker Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan today called upon journalists to maintain objectivity and professionalism in presenting news. He made the call while addressing a pre-Iftar discussion at Palash Upazila Press Club this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Moyeen Khan emphasized that a democratic government is currently running the country and is committed to implementing necessary measures for its development. The event was chaired by the Acting President of Palash Upazila Press Club, Jahangir Kabir, while its General Secretary, Nur-e-Alam Rony, conducted the proceedings.
Present at the discussion were Palash Upazila BNP President Abdus Sattar, General Secretary Professor Md. Saiful Islam, and Senior Joint General Secretary Bahauddin Bhuiyan Milton, among others. Following the discussion, a special doa and munajat were offered before iftar, seeking the welfare of the country and the nation.
