Bogura: Wheelchairs and cash assistance have been distributed among persons with disabilities in Bogura by Kalam Azad, coordinator of the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions of the BNP Media Cell, under the directive of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the distribution included aid to Ria Moni, 18, of Shashibadani Purba Para in Nongola Union, Bogura Sadar; and Lokman Hossain, 80, and Hari Chandra Mahanta, 58, from Nathpara Ashrayan Project, Ward No. 4 of Namuja Union in the same upazila.
Social worker Mahbubur Rahman Choton, Vice-President of Ward No. 13 BNP H.R. Miton, and Joint General Secretary of Bogura District Olama Dal Sabbir Rahman Osmani were also present during the distribution event.
