Lalmonirhat: Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu MP has announced that action will be taken against government officials and employees who fail to arrive at work on time. “The government officials and employees must come to their workplaces on time,” he stated during an interaction with journalists after a meeting with upazila-level officials and union parishad chairmen at the Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila Parishad conference room.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister also addressed the implementation of the election manifesto, highlighting that the government, supported by a strong mandate from the public, is in the process of executing various plans. These initiatives, which encompass canal digging, family cards, farmer cards, and agricultural loan waivers, are part of a 180-day priority program aimed at ensuring the rights of the populace.

The minister further emphasized the commitment to advancing efforts towards building an enlightened Lalmonirhat. This includes ongoing work in areas such as drug control, the eradication of online gambling, and the prevention of social crimes. Earlier in the day, the minister visited Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital and instructed the hospital authorities to uphold cleanliness standards.

The event was attended by government officials, upazila and union parishad chairmen, and members of the press.
