Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD's regular weather bulletin indicated that rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning, are likely to occur at a few places over the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places over the Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
The bulletin also noted that the day and night temperatures might rise slightly across the country. On Thursday, the highest temperature was recorded at 33.8 degrees Celsius in Bandarban, located in the Chattogram division, while the minimum temperature today was 20.1 degrees Celsius in Dimla, Nilphamari district.
The BMD bulletin further reported that the sun is expected to set at 6:07 pm today, with tomorrow's sunrise anticipated at 6:09 am in Dhaka.
