Goats Distributed Among Ethnic Communities in Naogaon

Naogaon: Goats, grain feed, and other essentials have been distributed to improve the socio-economic conditions and quality of life for small ethnic groups in Patnitala upazila under the Integrated Livestock Development Project. The distribution program was organized by the Upazila Livestock Office and Veterinary Hospital and was overseen by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Alimuzzaman Milon and Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Ashish Kumar Debnath.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event took place in the morning and was attended by local Member of Parliament Engineer Md. Enamul Haque as the chief guest. During the event, 400 goats, along with grain feed, corrugated iron sheets, and other necessary supplies, were distributed among 200 beneficiaries to aid livestock rearing and improve livelihoods.



Among those present at the program were Upazila Fisheries Officer Ruzina Parvin, former Vice Chairman Maulana Habibur Rahman, Md. Harunur Rashid, Assistant Secretary of the Upazila branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and a member of the Naogaon District Working Council, and Mofachhel Haque, Amir of the Najipur Municipal branch, along with other local officials and community representatives.
