Manikganj: A preparatory meeting was held to organize the celebration of the holy Eid-Ul-Fitr with due solemnity and religious fervor at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner under the auspices of Manikganj District Administration. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana and included the presence of Imams, religious personalities, and government officials.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting decided that the main Eid Jamat of the district will take place at the Shahid Miraj-Tapon Stadium at 8:00 am. The Eid Jamat will be led by Mufti Rafiqul Islam, the Imam and Khatib of the Manikganj Collectorate Jame Mosque. Additionally, the Manikganj Pourasava will be responsible for decorating the Eid Jamat to mark the festivity.
The meeting was addressed by several key figures, including Additional SP Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Md. Sakhawat Hossain, former District Education Officer Md. Abdul Monnaf Khan, Deputy Director of Social Services Abdul Baten, and Scout leader Sarkar Md. Masud.
