Dhaka: Home Minister and Standing Committee Member of BNP Salahuddin Ahmed has announced that all 133 ordinances promulgated by the interim government will be presented to the Jatiya Sangsad during its first session, scheduled to commence on March 12. Salahuddin revealed this information while speaking to journalists after a meeting with the Fire Service and Civil Defence personnel at the Home Ministry in Bangladesh Secretariat.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Salahuddin mentioned that some ordinances might be accepted in their current form, while others may not be adopted. The final decision regarding the ordinances will be made by the Jatiya Sangsad. The interim government had issued 133 ordinances and one order, and the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Ministry is currently preparing to present them to the parliament.
Additionally, President Mohammed Shahabuddin has summoned the first session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad to begin at 11:00 am on March 12.
