Savar: Amanullah Aman, a parliament member representing the Savar-Keraniganj area, has declared a firm stance against extortionists and drug traders within his constituency. He emphasized that there will be no leniency for those involved in such activities, regardless of their political affiliations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Aman made these remarks during a views-exchange meeting with local government officials held at the Savar Upazila Parishad hall room. He stressed that the Dhaka-2 constituency will not harbor extortionists, terrorists, or drug peddlers. Aman has directed the relevant authorities to implement effective strategies to eliminate these detrimental elements from the community.
Aman further differentiated his leadership from past autocratic governments, asserting that no individual will be permitted to unlawfully seize land or homes from innocent residents in his constituency. He warned that any such attempts would result in the perpetrators being handed over to law enforcement agencies.
During the meeting, Amanullah Aman also called on all stakeholders to adhere to the building code regulations when constructing residential and commercial properties. Savar Upazila Nirbah Officer (UNO) Saiful Islam was in attendance at the meeting, supporting the initiatives discussed.
