Dhaka: President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung has expressed confidence in Bangladesh’s potential for sustained economic growth and social prosperity under the leadership of newly elected Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
According to United News of Bangladesh, President Lee highlighted the expanding cooperation between Korea and Bangladesh in various sectors such as education, investment, development cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges. He emphasized that these collaborations are rooted in the long-standing friendship and mutual trust between the two nations.
In his message to Prime Minister Tarique, President Lee expressed his enthusiasm for strengthening the bilateral ties further. He extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Tarique for his electoral victory, acknowledging the strong support he received from the people of Bangladesh.
President Lee also conveyed his best wishes for Prime Minister Tarique’s success and the continued prosperity of Bangladesh, as shared in the message by the South Korean Embassy in Dhaka.
