Bangla Academy Honors Nine Writers with 2025 Literary Award

Dhaka: The Bangla Academy has announced nine eminent writers as the recipients of its Literary Award 2025. In a media statement, the academy's public relations department stated that the awards were given in eight categories for the year.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the recipients of the prestigious awards include Syed Azizul Huq for essay, Mohon Raihan for poetry, and Nasima Anis for fiction. Additionally, Hasan Hafiz has been recognized for his contributions to children's literature, while Mustafa Majid and Israil Khan received accolades for their research work. Farseem Mannan Mohammedy was awarded for his achievements in science, Ali Ahmad for translation, and Moidul Hasan for his work related to the Liberation War.

These awards underscore the Bangla Academy's commitment to recognizing and celebrating the literary talents and contributions of writers who have enriched the cultural and intellectual landscape.
