Dhaka: Padakhep School and College has observed Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day with a series of programmes on its campus. The institution organised various events on Saturday, focusing on innovation and humane education, as stated in a press release.
According to United News of Bangladesh, students participated by reading excerpts from a popular book on the historic February events, authored by Faridur Reza Sagar. The commemoration also saw teachers, guardians, and students placing floral wreaths at a makeshift Shaheed Minar, constructed by children on the school premises, to honor the language martyrs.
Dr. Md Rafiqul Islam, Education Adviser of the school, expressed their commitment to upholding the spirit of the day and contributing to the nation’s progress in the future. The day’s events also featured an exhibition of wall paintings created by students, showcasing their creativity through colorful brush strokes.
