Dhaka: Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan paid a courtesy call on Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon at the Secretariat today. During the meeting, the VC congratulated and conveyed his best wishes to the newly appointed Education Minister. He also invited the minister to visit the University of Dhaka.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan handed over a booklet to the Education Minister highlighting the university’s academic and research activities as well as various recent initiatives taken for the welfare of students, as mentioned in a DU press release. As part of regular briefings, the VC will soon inform the Education Minister in detail about the university’s academic and research activities, campus security and stability, and overall affairs through a comprehensive meeting, the release added.
Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon assured all possible cooperation for the overall development of education and research at the university.
