Washington: Former US President Barack Obama has clarified his stance on the existence of extraterrestrial life, stating that while life beyond Earth may be statistically probable, the likelihood of aliens having visited our planet remains low.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Obama addressed this topic during a podcast with Brian Tyler Cohen. He explained that his previous comment, "they're real," was made during a rapid-fire question session and was not intended to confirm the existence of extraterrestrial visitors. Obama emphasized that there is no evidence supporting the idea that aliens have visited Earth or that they are concealed in secretive locations like Area 51.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Obama reiterated his view, noting, "Statistically, the universe is vast, so life likely exists elsewhere, but I saw no evidence of contact during my presidency." He also mentioned that upon assuming office, he had inquired about any alien specimens or spacecraft but was informed that none existed, despite the recording of unexplained aerial phenomena.
