Dhaka: The government has cancelled the contractual appointment of M Siraj Uddin Mia to the post of Principal Secretary of the Chief Adviser based on his resignation application.
According to United News of Bangladesh, a gazette notification dated February 16, 2026, from the Ministry of Public Administration stated that the contractual appointment of M Siraj Uddin Mia to the post of Principal Secretary was revoked.
