UK Under-Secretary Seema Malhotra Visits Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus in Dhaka

Dhaka: The UK Under-Secretary Seema Malhotra paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna here today. British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke and Senior Secretary for SDG Affairs Lamiya Morshed were present, among others, on the occasion, said the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing this afternoon.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting emphasized strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the UK and Bangladesh. Discussions were held on various issues, including sustainable development goals and collaborative efforts to enhance economic and social ties.



The presence of British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke highlighted the importance of the visit in the context of diplomatic relations. Senior Secretary for SDG Affairs Lamiya Morshed’s participation underscored the commitment to advancing sustainable development initiatives in Bangladesh.
