Dhaka: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary arrived here today to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Bangladesh’s newly elected government led by BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chaudhary reached Dhaka at the invitation of the Government of Bangladesh to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. A message from the Pakistan high commission highlighted the significance of this diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
On his arrival, Chaudhary was received at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by senior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Dhaka. The presence of these officials underscores the importance of Pakistan’s participation in the event.
