Mamunul Haque Casts Vote in Dhaka-13 Constituency

Dhaka: Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Ameer and 11-party alliance nominated candidate for Dhaka-13, Maulana Mamunul Haque, exercised his voting right in the first hour of polling today. He cast his vote at 8:10 a.m. at the Government Physical Education College centre on Sat Masjid Road, Mohammadpur. Before voting, he visited several booths within the centre.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Dhaka-13 constituency covers wards 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34 of the Dhaka North City Corporation. The constituency has a total of 408,791 registered voters, including 209,812 men, 198,971 women, and 8 third-gender voters.

In this constituency, Mamunul Haque is competing against multiple candidates: Bobby Hajjaj, founder and chairman of the Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM), on the paddy sheaf symbol nominated by BNP, and Mizanur Rahman of the Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP) on the truck symbol, among others.
