Cumilla: Voting is underway in Bangladesh with a smooth and orderly atmosphere, as reported by Hasnat Abdullah, the Chief Organiser (South Region) of the National Citizen Party (NCP) and a candidate for the Cumilla-4 constituency. Abdullah expressed satisfaction with the ongoing electoral process while casting his vote at the Gopalnagar High School polling centre in Cumilla-4 (Debidwar) constituency at approximately 8:30 am.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Hasnat Abdullah highlighted that new voters are participating with enthusiasm, contributing to the positive environment at the polling stations. Voting commenced at 7:30 am on Thursday, with over 42,000 polling centres open across 299 constituencies in the country.
This election marks the 13th national election in Bangladesh, involving approximately 13 crore registered voters. The outcome of this election will play a significant role in shaping the country’s next government.
