Dhaka: The visiting Turkish election observer delegation paid a courtesy call on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today. The meeting took place in the evening at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the delegation included Mehmet Akif Yilmaz (MP) as the head of the delegation, along with Burhan Kayatrk (MP), Osman Mesten (MP), Adem Yildirim (MP), Ali Fazil Kasap (MP), Ayse Sibel Ersoy (MP), and Mehmet Vakur Erkul, the former Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh from 2010 to 2013.
Representing the BNP at the meeting were Chairman Tarique Rahman, Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir, and the Chairperson’s Adviser Enamul Haque Chowdhury. Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed the details of the meeting.
