Dhaka: The interim government on Tuesday published the wealth statements of the Chief Adviser, other advisers, and persons of equivalent status, along with those of their spouses, offering a snapshot of their financial positions ahead of the national election. The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the asset statements have been disclosed in line with a gazette notification issued on October 1, 2024. This move aims to ensure transparency and accountability among the interim government's top officials as the country prepares for the upcoming national election.
The publication of these wealth statements is part of a broader initiative to promote integrity and trust in the political process, allowing citizens to have a clearer understanding of the financial standing of those in significant advisory roles.
