Dhaka: An election observer delegation from the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna today. The meeting signifies a step towards ensuring transparent and fair electoral processes.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the seven-member delegation was led by Rohana Hettiarachchie. The Chief Adviser's Press Wing confirmed this meeting in an afternoon statement.
Also present at the meeting were Lamiya Morshed, the Principal Coordinator for SDGs at the Chief Adviser's Office, and senior officials from the Foreign Affairs Ministry. The gathering underscores the collaborative efforts in promoting free and fair elections.
