Dinajpur: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 apprehended two individuals suspected of drug peddling, confiscating 9,850 yaba tablets from Ranirbandar Bazar in the Chirirbandar police station area of Dinajpur district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the suspects were identified as Mahamudul Hachan, 30, from the village of Jangudi, and Md Raju Pramanik, 42, from the village of Beel Gobindpur. Both individuals are from Nagarkanda police stations in Faridpur district. The arrests occurred following a tip-off that led an operational team of RAB-13’s Crime Prevention Company-1, based in Dinajpur Camp, to conduct a search operation. The operation took place at 8:30 am, during which the drugs were seized and the suspects were detained on the spot.
The RAB-13 has filed a case regarding this incident and subsequently handed over the seized yaba tablets and the arrested individuals to Chirirbandar police station in Dinajpur district, as mentioned in the press release.
