Dhaka: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair has urged citizens not to be misled by false claims, rumors, or propaganda against the party’s leaders, particularly Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. Zubair, who also heads Jamaat’s Central Publicity and Media Department, made this appeal while condemning the dissemination of fabricated information involving Dr. Rahman.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Zubair emphasized that a conspiratorial group is deliberately spreading misleading information linking Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the Dhaka-15 parliamentary candidate. He described these claims as baseless, false, and intentionally fabricated.

Zubair stated that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman is recognized as an honest and principled leader, respected across various sections of society. He dismissed allegations of monetary inducement against Dr. Rahman as a conspiracy by politically bankrupt forces.

He further mentioned that those threatened by Dr. Rahman’s growing public support are attempting to create confusion through misinformation. Zubair called on relevant parties to cease spreading falsehoods and urged the public to stay vigilant against deceptive claims.
