NIB and ICDDR,B Ink MoU for Collaborative Research and Knowledge Sharing

Dhaka: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB) under the Ministry of Science and Technology and the International Health Research Institute (ICDDR,B).

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the MoU was signed at the meeting room of the Ministry of Science and Technology at the Bangladesh Secretariat. NIB Director General Professor Dr. Sagir Ahmed and ICDDR,B Executive Director Dr. Tahmid Ahmed were present to formalize the agreement.

Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Md. Anwar Hossain attended the event as the chief guest. He highlighted the significance of ICDDR,B as a reputable institution and noted that the agreement will pave the way for enhanced research, knowledge exchange, and medical services, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare quality.

The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, along with additional and joint secretaries of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and senior officials from both organizations.
