Narsingdi: A day-long training workshop for polling officials was held in Narsingdi as part of preparations for the upcoming referendum and the 13th national parliamentary election. The workshop took place at Nasima Kadir Mollah High School in the municipal town, with 180 officials assigned to polling duties in the Narsingdi-1 (Sadar) constituency participating.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the programme was organized jointly by the Narsingdi Sadar Upazila Administration and the Upazila Election Office. District Commissioner Mohammad Anwar Hossain attended the workshop as the chief guest, while Upazila Nirbahi Officer Asma Jahan Sarkar presided over the event.
In attendance were Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Faruk, Additional District Commissioner Abu Taher Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, District Election Officer Mohammad Shaheen Akand, Assistant Commissioner Cynthia Hossain, and Election Officer Al Noman, among other officials.
