Dhaka: The National University (NU) has announced an extension for the online application period for its 1st year honours admission programme for the 2025-2026 academic year. The new deadline has been set for February 22, allowing prospective students additional time to apply.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the new schedule was issued by the university today, and it specifies that interested students have until midnight on February 22 to submit their applications for the honours programme. The notification was signed by Professor Dr Md Abuddarda, the Acting Dean of the University’s School of Undergraduate Education.
Candidates are required to fill out the initial application form online via the university’s official website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions). The application fee, amounting to Tk.1,000, can be paid through mobile banking services designated by the respective college or directly until February 23.
The revised schedule for the honours admission outlines that the last date for collecting initial applications and forms online is February 22, with the final date for fee submission being February 23. Colleges are required to confirm online applications by February 24. The university copy of the fee must be submitted to Sonali Bank between February 25 and March 4.
