Sherpur: Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, known as Charmonai Pir, today said it is foolish to expect new outcomes from parties that have ruled the country in the past. Addressing an election rally in support of Islami Andolan Bangladesh candidate Maulana Abu Taleb Muhammad Saifuddin in Sherpur-3 (Sreebardi-Jhinaigati), he said the same parties and alliances are again seeking votes with old laws and failed policies.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Charmonai Pir emphasized that the recent July uprising has created an opportunity to build a new Bangladesh through new policies and leadership. He asserted that if Islami Andolan Bangladesh is voted into power, the party would establish a justice-based system.
He further urged voters to cast their ballots in favour of the party's 'Hat Pakha' symbol, promoting a shift towards a new governance model that promises change and reform.
