Selimuzzaman Highlights Importance of Voting Rights for Sustainable Development in Gopalganj

Gopalganj: BNP-nominated candidate for the Gopalganj-1 constituency and co-organising secretary of the party’s national executive committee, Selimuzzaman Selim, has emphasised that sustainable development in Muksudpur-Kashiani upazila is contingent upon the protection of the people’s voting rights. He articulated this viewpoint during an election meeting organized by the residents of Mahmudpur union in Kashiani upazila on Friday night.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Selimuzzaman underscored his commitment to serving the community, declaring that his objective is not personal gain but to act as a representative for the people. He urged the electorate to vote for the Sheaf of Paddy symbol in the upcoming elections, promising to implement social initiatives aimed at addressing unemployment, developing infrastructure such as roads and ghats, improving the education system, and eradicating drug abuse in Kashiani-Muksudpur upazila.



The event saw attendance from several prominent local and central leaders, including Kashiani Upazila BNP President Golam Mostafa Mollah, Jubo Dal Central Leader Mahamudul Hasan Bappi, Chhatra Dal Central Parliament Student Affairs Secretary Faria Islam Meghla, Mahila Dal Central Executive Committee Office Secretary Nargis Akhter, Kashiani Upazila BNP Student Affairs Secretary Billal Khan, Kashiani Upazila Swechhasebak Dal Member Secretary Milon Khan, and Chhatra Dal President Amirul Islam Sohel.
