Dhaka: The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has directed officials of the BCS general education cadre, who have completed their PhD, MPhil, or MS degrees within the past year, to submit and present summaries of their research to the Ministry of Education. This directive was issued through a notification by the DSHE, urging the concerned officials to adhere to the instructions.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the order was signed by Assistant Director (Training-3) of DSHE, Samina Sultana. It requires officials to present their research topics, objectives, key findings, and practical significance using a maximum of 10 PowerPoint slides. The initiative aims to evaluate how the research knowledge acquired by these officials can directly contribute to enhancing the country’s education system.
The directive mandates that the concerned officials submit a research summary along with a soft copy in Nikosh font via email to the Training Wing of the Directorate at [email protected] by January 18. Details regarding the specific date, time, and venue for the presentations will be communicated to the officials at a later date.
DSHE officials stated that the presentations are intended to highlight the outcomes and practical applications of the higher degrees attained by education cadre officials, with the goal of bringing these insights to the policy-making level.
