Dhaka: The Ministry of Education today issued a warning notice to all concerned not to make any personal contact or engage in any financial transaction with anyone in connection with the enlistment of new non-government educational institutions under the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) scheme. “The entire MPO enlistment process will be completed automatically through software, leaving no scope for any manual evaluation,” the notice reads.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a notice issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the ministry stated that a public notice was published on January 7 for the enlistment of new educational institutions under the MPO scheme. Under the “MPO Policy-2025”, specific criteria have been set, and the educational institutions applying online will be automatically graded by software based on those criteria to prepare the list.
As the entire process will be completed digitally, the ministry requested all concerned to refrain from making any personal contact or financial transactions for MPO enlistment. The notification also requested that no written, verbal, or recommendation-based applications be submitted to the Secondary and Higher Education Division or any of its subordinate offices in this regard.
Interested institutions have been advised to apply only under the heading “Online MPO Application” through the following links: www.sheba.gov.bd, www.dshe.gov.bd, and www.bangladesh.gov.bd.
