Gazipur: The results of the first-year honours admission test for the 2025-26 academic year of nine universities under the agricultural cluster will be released tomorrow. Md Abdullah Mridha, Registrar (in-charge) of Gazipur Agricultural University and member secretary of the central admission committee of the agricultural cluster, confirmed the information this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the results will be published following the approval of the result sheet at a meeting of the vice-chancellors of the nine universities. This meeting is scheduled to take place at Gazipur Agricultural University at 11 am tomorrow. Preparations are currently underway to announce the results in the evening.
The agricultural cluster admission test was conducted on January 3, from 2 pm to 3 pm, using the MCQ method. The examination was held simultaneously at 20 sub-centres across the country, covering nine universities. This year, there are 3,701 seats available in the agricultural cluster, with 88,228 students having applied for admission.
The universities included in the agricultural cluster are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali University of Science and Technology, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
