Dhaka: The Bangladesh authorities have suspended the broadcast of all cricket matches of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, scheduled to begin on March 26.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to drop Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team for the IPL has left many in Bangladesh saddened and shocked. This move has sparked a wave of disappointment and discontent among cricket fans and the general public in the country.

In light of these sentiments, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued a letter stating that all matches and events of the IPL will remain suspended in Bangladesh until further notice. The suspension reflects the strong reaction to the exclusion of a beloved national player from participating in the prestigious tournament.
