Dhaka: Dr Kamal Hossain, emeritus president of Gonoforum, has been admitted to Square Hospital here with a serious illness. Gonoforum confirmed the matter in a press release, stating that Dr Kamal was taken to the hospital this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, he is undergoing treatment for physical weakness and lung-related complications. After being admitted to the hospital, he has been kept under close observation.
Doctors are prioritizing the management of his respiratory system and lung complications. Currently, restoring his physical strength and preventing infection remain the main focus of his treatment, as stated by party sources.
