Dhaka: The 1st CAS International Squash 2026, one of the largest squash tournaments in the subcontinent, is set to commence tomorrow at the Army Squash Complex in Dhaka Cantonment and Bashundhara Sports City. The event will feature twenty-four world-ranked professional squash players from ten countries, highlighting the growing prominence of squash in Bangladesh.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this marks the first time that world-ranked players from India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt, and Japan will compete in this prestigious international squash event. The tournament is held under the direct patronage of the Army Chief, further emphasizing its significance on the global squash stage.
The participating countries include host Bangladesh, along with Belgium, Bahrain, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, and Pakistan. This diverse lineup underscores Bangladesh's emerging reputation in the international squash community.
