Sylhet: Sylhet Titans have dedicated their victory against Dhaka Capitals in today's Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) game to Begum Khaleda Zia, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, who passed away on December 30, 2025.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the franchise announced in a press release that "as a mark of respect and inspiration" they dedicated the victory to Begum Khaleda Zia. The statement highlighted the significance of the win, describing it as a reflection of unity, belief, and resilience. The team emphasized that such performances are crucial for the Titans' ambition to compete with consistency and purpose in the remaining matches.
The press release further stated that the Sylhet Titans remain focused on building momentum and delivering performances that inspire both on and off the field. Currently, Sylhet holds the second spot on the points table after securing two wins out of three matches.
