Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted a continuation of dry weather conditions across the country, with temporary partly cloudy skies expected over the next 24 hours starting from 9 am today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD bulletin released this morning indicates that moderate to thick fog may develop in certain areas from midnight to morning and could persist until noon in some locations. This foggy weather may lead to temporary disruptions in air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication. Additionally, both night and day temperatures are anticipated to remain nearly unchanged throughout the country.
The foggy conditions are expected to result in cold sensations in various regions. On Saturday, the highest temperature recorded was 28.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in the Chattogram division, while today’s lowest temperature was recorded at 9.8 degrees Celsius in Nikli, situated in the Dhaka division. In Dhaka, the sun is set to set at 5:20 pm today and rise at 6:40 am tomorrow.
