Dhaka: Two more final round matches of the Aparajeyo Alo Women’s Hockey tournament were held at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the first match saw Zone-five Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothishthan (BKSP) dominate Zone-one (Rajshahi-Rangpur) with an overwhelming 18-0 victory. The match was highlighted by hat-tricks from Arpita Pal and Irin Akter, contributing significantly to BKSP’s commanding win.
In the second match of the day, Zone-two (Dhaka-Mymensingh) and Zone-three (Khulna-Barisal) ended in a 1-1 draw. Apurbo Akter scored for Zone-two, while Priya Khatun equalized for Zone-three. Sumi Akter of Zone-two was named the player of the match for her standout performance on the field.
