17 Candidates Collect Nomination Forms for Parliamentary Elections in Khulna

Dhaka: A total of 17 candidates have collected nomination forms for six parliamentary constituencies in Khulna district till Thursday.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, sources at the office of the Khulna District Returning Officer revealed the candidates who collected nomination papers on Thursday. Among them are Amir Ejaz Khan of BNP and Krishna Nandi of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for the Khulna-1 constituency.

For the Khulna-2 constituency, the candidates are Nazrul Islam Manju from BNP, Sheikh Jahangir Hossain Helal from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Mufti Aman Ullah from Islami Andolon Bangladesh.

In the Khulna-3 constituency, nomination forms were collected by Rakibul Islam Babul from BNP, Professor Md Mahfuzur Rahman from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Md Abdul Auwal from Islami Andolon Bangladesh, and Sheikh Arman Hossain from Jatiyatabadi Ganatantrik Andolon.

The candidates for the Khulna-4 constituency include Azizul Bari Helal from BNP, Md Kabirul Islam from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmed from Islami Andolon Bangladesh, and Azmal Hossain as an independent candidate.

For the Khulna-5 constituency, Mia Golam Parwar, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Mohammad Ali Azgar Lobi from BNP collected nomination papers.

In the Khulna-6 constituency, Maulana Md Abul Kalam Azad from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and S M Monirul Hasan Bappi from BNP collected nomination forms.

Khulna District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner A S M Jamshed Ahmed confirmed the information.
