Jashore: The Jashore district men's and women's handball league, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation, has commenced at Shams-Ul Huda Stadium in Jessore. Jashore District Sports Association convener committee's general secretary and member, Md Shofiquzzaman, officially inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the opening matches showcased competitive performances. In the men's section, Gope Krira Chakra triumphed over Hahadat Smrity Sangha with a score of 24-13. The women's section saw Chunbeat Sporting Club defeating Tirjok Club 4-1, while Tombir Mohol dominated Srishty Club with a 3-0 victory.
