Five-Day Cub Camporee Kicks Off in Naogaon

Naogaon: The five-day Cub Camporee began today at Raninagar High Girls' School in Raninagar upazila of Naogaon for the seventh time. The event has been organized by the Upazila Scouts Office.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Cub Camporee is a large-scale camping event where groups of Cub Scouts from different areas gather for outdoor activities, skill-building, and recreation. Upazila Executive Officer Rakibul Hasan inaugurated the camporee, which is being presided over by Upazila Scouts Commissioner Mizanur Rahman and conducted by Secretary Abu Saeed Pramanik.

Around 200 students from 35 primary schools are participating in the five-day event. The camporee aims to engage students in various scouting activities, including Anondo Shokal, Guchiye Rakhi, Anondo Mela, Dripto Kodom, Khelbo Mora, and Tabu Jalsa. The event will conclude on December 15.
