Manikganj: Arambagh Krira Sangha secured their first victory in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) by defeating Brothers Union Club 2-0 at Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium. Kazi Rahad Mia was the star player, scoring both goals for Arambagh in the 32nd and 45+2 minutes of the match.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, despite efforts from Brothers Union Club to mount a comeback after halftime, they were unable to score, leaving Arambagh with a well-deserved win. With this victory, Arambagh moved off the bottom of the league table, accumulating four points from six matches. Brothers Union Club, positioned fifth in the league, remains at seven points after playing the same number of games.
The next round of matches is set to continue tomorrow. Fakirerpool Young Men's Club will face Abahani Limited Dhaka at Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium, while PWD Sports Club will play against Bangladesh Police Football Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur district.
